Oct 01, 2013

National Cooperative Grocers Association (NCGA), a business services cooperative for retail food co-ops across the United States, today announced the addition of one new member and one new associate co-op, bringing the association to 136 food co-ops in 37 states with combined annual sales of more than $1.5 billion.

"We’re thrilled to welcome our new affiliate co-ops and the communities they serve," said Robynn Shrader, chief executive officer for NCGA. "The growth in our membership mirrors growing consumer demand for good food and community-owned businesses across the nation, from Alaska to Georgia. We are very proud to be a part of each of our new co-ops’ future."
